Vinyasa Flow

Our Vinyasa classes focus on seamless pose to pose transitions linking the breath, body, and mind. Vinyasa is a breathing based yoga class that is designed to increase your strength, flexibility, and awareness. Whether you are a curious beginner or an experienced yogi, you can find fulfilment in Vinyasa!

Class Types

Yoga Play Day

Our Yoga Play Day class is a workshop-style class that is focused on building the strength and confidence you need to incorporate arm balances and inversion postures into your daily yoga practice. The workshop is playful and accessible for all levels.

Yin Yoga

Our Yin yoga classes focus on letting go, finding acceptance, and embracing stillness. Yin yoga is designed around staying in postures for 3-5 minutes per pose. Unlike Yang (Vinyasa) yoga, we don't use our body to get into the pose, we use the pose to get into our body. Yin yoga is great if you are looking for a calm, quiet, deep stretch.

Class Etiquette

Yoga is so much more than the physical practice we do on our mat. The practice of yoga extends beyond the mat and flows into how we take care of ourselves and those around us. Please respect our class etiquette guidelines and help contribute to a truly wonderful Lund Yoga Community. Thank you for your respect and participation.

1. Be On Time

Arrive on time, give yourself the luxury of at least 15 extra minutes to take a breath and enjoy a moment of quiet on your mat before class starts.

2. Be A Kind Mat Neighbor

Busy class? Get cozy! Make room for your friends, say Hej! to your mat neighbour. Yoga can be a beautiful practice, but let's face it, sometimes yoga turns us into a hot sweaty mess. Respect your mat neighbour - bring a small towel to mop up your sweat. Avoid heavy perfumes, but do use deodorant if you need it.

3. Personal Hygiene

Practice in clean clothes, on a clean mat, and with a clean body.

Try to shower or bathe in the morning or before class.

If you smoke, bring clean, fresh clothing to practice in. Don't smoke directly before class.

4. Spread Love Not Germs

If you are feeling like you are getting sick, if you already are sick, if you have a cold, fever, or you are not feeling top notch - Stay Home! This is your body telling you to rest, so rest. Help your mat friends stay healthy!

5. Be Comfortable

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to bend, stretch and move.

Check that your clothing is not too revealing or see-through when you bend, sweat, and twist yourself into a pretzel. If you get cold easily, bring a sweater for Savasana.

6. Resepct Savasana

This is your body's time to be still, to rest, to absorb the work you've done.

Give yourself this gift of stillness and quiet, your body and mind will thank you.

7. Talk To Your Teacher

Inform your teacher about any injuries or medical conditions you have before class so she/he can offer appropriate modifications to poses. If you are pregnant please tell your teacher before class as modifications are necessary. After class, feel free to ask questions or give feedback to the teacher. We are here to help you grow in your practice, so let us know what you need.
